Hatyai trip
Friday, June 10, 2016

And so I went for Hatyai trip with travel agency on 2nd of June. It was a three-day-two-night trip with around 44 people in a bus. On the bus my mum braided my hair hehe, but my hair is still short for braid 🙁
We officially departed around 8 to Golok, to have breakfast ❤️
I had kolomee for my breakfast hehe. Siam kolomee is really dried noodles, unlike kolomee in my hometown dampened with soybean sauce. Overall it was delicious, because yeah there were wantans, porks (fav), and pork balls.
Just so you want to know where I had my breakfast, here is a picture of my mum posing in front of the shop haha. I can't find the name of the shop actually 😅 then my mum went to buy char siew pau opposite this shop, not bad for taste.
And passed by the railway station there, it was distant picture from bus so it appeared blurry.
I had my lunch at the I-still-don't-know-what-is-the-name-restaurant but here is a picture for attachment. I ate at the restaurant with crab image haha. Mostly seafood for lunch, crabs, prawns, fish, recommended. You know the thing about Thailand - the food is spicy and sour. Thumbs up. I can eat spicy food, but not very spicy food, they burn my tears out lol.
The fish served there. Can you see the greenish paste in middle? All chilli and chilli and chilli.
Me trying out messy bun but of course fail la lol.
We went for Central Festival Mall later on.
It is common if you go to Thailand, the shopping malls are set up with security guards at every entrances, it's quite irritating if you bring your bag along, you get to have it opened up for checking purpose, but it is for the safety of everyone else *shrug*
See! It's TESCO!!! Nah, the point is the elevator for sky bridge, I have been thinking maybe in twenty or thirty years time I can have it in KB.
And then we went to Guang Yin temple. Got the wrong road initially but managed to find the right destination.
Typical tourist (me) with daddy and Mi Le Fo.
And we checked in to Asian Hotel before heading to buffet dinner at Lee Garden Plaza Hotel. See the crowd there, because there is night market every night along the streets.
Adult cost 179 baht for the buffet, and you get to eat anything there with no time limit I suppose. The food provided that day were, chicken soup (niceeee!), tom yum soup, 魚鰾soup, fried rice, salad, all sort of desserts ranging from banana dessert, cendol, green bean soup, and of course ice creams *scream*
The next morning we went to this temple, Dannok ( a place near Kedah) a picture of my papa mama in front of the temple.
M
We went to Asian Cultural Village and had lunch there. It is a nice place for photo shooting.
Three of us on the car provided there to Dinosaur Park hehe.
Me touching the nose of dk which dinosaur. And damn it moved when I touched it, with roaring sound by audio speaker for sound effect. It felt so real, except the touch is rubbery feel haha.
The tallest dinosaur in the park. And yes, it moves too.
Me with long neck girl 🙆🏻
The village is pretty big and fun, spacious but not crowded, which is the reason I am glad, definitely going back there next time to explore more.
Ox - my chinese zodiac. Actually by that time the bus broke down and went for repair, basically we were stuck in the village with searing hot temperature *sobs* so why not use the time to wander around and capture some photos *winks*

After the bus was repaired we went to Klonghae floating market and had our dinner there. The special in this market is boat floating on the water and they sell things on boat, most of them sell on the road, it is more like a pasar malam.
Ate a 20 baht kuey teow, not my cup of tea by the way.
And then we went to pasar malam around Lee Garden again and I bought some souvenirs for cousins: keychains, magnets and small bags. The thing here is that it's not really cheap buying here, I recall my mum buying pants for my brother there and the pants costed 200 baht, my mum asked for discount 350 baht for two, the seller enraged and threw the pants my mum picked and said buy it or not. Of course we walked away after that. It was really rude of her to be like this to customer, even if you can't give them the price they want, you have no right to be angry.
A ghost picture of me wearing dress and cardigan for the last day of trip. Why cardigan? Because I got seriously cold that morning, weird.
And then we went to New Kimyong Market which is within walking distance from the hotel, just down the road. My mum bought 10 bakchang for the festival. Each cost 25 baht, cheaper than local bakchang back in town.
We went to this morning market after breakfast and check out. Remember earlier I mention about the pants? Well, my mum got 2 for my brother for only 300 baht here, the same pant! So the seller from Lee Garden there, f*** off please. My mum also got one for my dad. I myself bought a white grid skirt for 190 baht.
And the last destination before heading back - Makro, it is like a hypermarket selling goods. And they do not use plastic bags here, a good sign! Anyway, I don't see a point buying goods in Thailand and bring back to Malaysia (????)
And I shall end my post now before spamming with more pictures hehe. Have fun reading!
