Vacation

My desktop broke down. So I guess it's time for me to blog on my vacation, a short trip to Seremban, Negeri Seremban. The main purpose of this trip was to sweep tombs. We Chinese has our tomb-sweeping day to honor the dead as if to pay respects to our loved ones, which we can't do it anymore in our daily lifestyles.
DAY I
My family and I went to Seremban on 10th April. Happy birthday bro. Our flight was around two. By the time we reached KLIA2, it was about four something, the flight was delayed, like always. My cousin, Joyce was there to fetch us to her house. We had our rest, bathed. And then, we had our dinner at a restaurant nearby. The night was dim and lots of bugs were flying and banging against the lamp(probably it was going to rain, which it didn't), which was gross. Imagine having them inside the dishes, the drinks. Yucks.
Next, we went to Tesco to purchase some fruits for tomb-sweeping. Joyce said the Tesco closed at one something, I was shocked. Because in Kelantan, all of the supermarkets closed around 11pm. End of day 1.
DAY II
I woke up early, okay, around 8am I think. Another cousin of mine promised to be in Seremban on 1030am, so I didn't want to be late and had them waiting for me. My family and I and Sea (Joyce's younger brother) went out for breakfast, we had 猪腩粉 (猪means pork, 腩means belly, while 粉 can be noodles, bihun or kueyteow). It tasted okay, at least I like it. After that all of us went for tomb-sweeping. First, my grandmother, who was dead when my dad was only one-year-old. We burnt the incense stick and sent our prayers. That religious festival, we often prayed with giving the dead rices, fruits and drinks. We also burnt the paper(money, clothes, car, anything) which we believe they will receive them in their 'world'. After that, we continued tomb-sweeping my uncle etc.
Tomb-sweeping could be pretty exhausting and lethargy crept in so swiftly. The oppressive heat was undurable, rawr. So Sea brought us home and got us lunch, 酿豆腐 (stuffed tofu, fish balls etc). Well, I was indeed satisfied hehe. We later had dinner at 芙蓉烧包城. I am a great fans of curry, Joyce ordered a chicken curry bread (yum). We bought some pau.
Next, we went to AEON for movie, yes, Fast and Furious 7 !!! I'm not going to add detail about the movie, so rest in peace Paul Walker. Oh, a popcorn is a must. Just to tell you the truth, why I brag about going to movie, because Kelantan doesn't even have a cinema, wtf.
Playing with cousy.
After the movie, the night was pretty late. We went to Movida, a bar and restaurant, at Seremban II. It is actually in a clubhouse, which include marine gym (wow!), normal gym, arcade centre etc.
Yes, we drank beer (I'm 18!)
DAY III
The last day in Seremban, we had breakfast at Laksa shop, it's actually curry noodle (-.-). If you want to try real laksa, do come to Kelantan, or Penang. Laksa is a famous local cuisine here. I was told it was very spicy, instead I ordered dry bihun, which was totally too costly, provided there is only a lil meat, half boiled egg for RM4.30! Not worth. Thumbs down, sorry.
We then went to Palm Mall. My mum bought three aloe Vera soothing gel (will post about this later).
Fish head bihun.
We had fish head bihun and porridge for lunch. Food is love. Okay, I like this bihun, so I would definitely recommend this to anyone. Tasted delicious, a yay. We went home to pack our luggage 😢
Before we headed to the airport, we had early dinner at my another cousin's house. We bid farewell, bye bye.
