KL Trip

I reached home safe and sound on Sunday and decided to give myself a short break despite the tedious trip. Believe me, I get tired easily. I was glad to be at home. In one week time, however, I found that my home was cleaner than before. No more messy stationery and paper scattering all over the desk; no more clothes under the coffee table; books were piled up and well, that's all.
Jing Cher's parents are nice and approachable, they are warm and childlike some times. That's probably the reason why she remains optimistic and funny. We, a.k.a Ee Earn, Chee Khey, Victoria, Ling Ning and me lived in her new house for one week. We had a lot of great time together, laughed and sang our heart out. But I have always preferred to go on a vacation with my beloved family. One of the reasons stands out vividly is that there's no need to be awkward and you can do anything you can't in front of friends. Family is always forgiving. You can have no worry that you'll be running out of money. At least, that's what it is for me.
Korea dishes from Dubu Dubu.
Ramen.
Ice cream feast ! Haagen Dazs
Pair of shoes from Cache Cache.
15 books.
Pouch from WooAai
6 bookmarks from book fair.
Picture by picture. First off, the Korea dishes from Dubu Dubu, which tasted okay. But the quantity was too much (for a skinny girl like me) and left my stomach packed. Some of my friends ordered other dishes and found the dishes tasted badly. For me, mine was okay.
Second picture was 水饺ramen from a Taiwan小吃 shop at Midvalley. No surprise beyond my expectation but it tasted good. The quantity is not adequate for me, sadly.
Third picture stands the ice cream feast we had in Haagen Dazs. It is best served with friends or family. Dip the cookies/ice cream/marshmallow/fruits/almond flakes into the chocolate and let the chocolate dry up as it harden. It costs RM70.00+ if I was not mistaken. As a student, it was no doubt we couldn't afford to consume such dessert. It was Victoria's cousin who paid for us. That was kind of her.
The fourth picture goes to a pair of shoes I bought in Cache Cache. It costs me only RM20 ! I was indecisive whether to buy or not but then it fixed into my feet precisely. I knew that I should buy it at the moment. Because I find it hard for me to buy a nice pair of shoes as my feet are small for the adult and too big for the children. It was the best choice I had made to buy this pair of shoes, plus the shoes was in highlighted color !
The fifth picture is a stack of books I bought from 2 book fairs. I bought 5 English books in the Popular Book Fair, which costed me RM5 for each book. They were
bloody cheap ! In Kelantan, (I mean in Popular) you couldn't even buy a proper English book with RM 25. I was hilarious but I knew I couldn't afford to buy any more books or else it would be a big trouble to pack them into my luggage. I spent not more than RM150 for those books above. Worthwhile.
Pictures sixth to eighth is the pouch I bought in WooAai, I decide to make it my new pencil case. Frankly speaking, I love those floral printing and checkered pattern and even the polka dot pattern ! The pouch costs about RM19.90.
And not to mention the last picture which comprises six bookmarks I bought from a book fair ! I love'em so much. I have been searching for them for such a long time in Kelantan. But it is a futile search as you can see. At the moment I saw those book marks, I set my mind to buy at least one no matter how expensive they were. One costs for RM9 and buy three free one. It costed me RM40 for the six book marks, which was not quite reasonable. How could a book mark like that be bloody hell expensive, my brother said. I just love the 'a bookmark like that'. For that I think that I am irrational enough.
It's all for today.
P.S.: Reread my post and realise it was too long, bloody long. So I decided to enter more columns.Labels: friends, holiday, kl trip
