MHS UM
Sunday, September 4, 2016

Peeps, it's me. Updating in the month of September. And so, I survived the Minggu Haluansiswa (MHS).  It's merely a six days event but it felt like a lifetime. Normally, we woke up at 5 and freshened up and then went for moral session around 6 (for non-muslim). The activity followed by was the senam robik and we were allowed to have our breakfast.  Before I go further, I got placed in Kolej Kediaman Kedua (KK2), which is pretty near the Engineering Faculty (Practically, I need not to rush in order to get to my faculty on time hehehe). The room in KK2 is basically three-people-room, with a single bed and a double decker, it's clean and spacious (but nevertheless, Matriks room is better because I can have my own single bed. And so, even though I arrived early, I didn't get the single bed as one of my roommate got there first :( Never mind though, I was contented as long as my bed is not the upper part of double decker.
Regarding the MHS, I was arranged in Sel 15 out of 20 Sels and got PM Chin and PM Akid as my PMs Sel.  Basically MHS was all about shouting, cheering so that MHS became Minggu Hilang Suara too.  The best thing about it was that one of my roommate got to be in the same Sel as me.
After breakfast, normally we will moved to DTC to listen to lot of talks. It was pretty tiring as we woke up early in the morning and the talk normally lasted for hours, I managed not to really fell asleep. We would proceed to lunch, and then went to DTC for talks, at night we will had our dinner before any activities started, for example photo shooting competition.

Here comes a selfie from my Sel members.
LDK activities based on creativity.

KMPPians who managed to get in UM (A few weren't in the picture btw)

An awesome view of DTC from upstairs.

A selfie on the last night of MHS.

The last Sel group picture before heading off the sleep like there's no tomorrow.
Overall, the MHS experience is really something once in a lifetime.  MHS is definitely something unforgettable and meaningful for me for the commencement of my university degree life.
About those PM (Pemudahcara Mahasiswa), they really gave their all out, an awful lot of thank you I owed to them for being dedicated in doing their tasks, sleeping for maybe only 1-2 hours per day just for preparation. Can you imagine someone sacrificing their time merely for an event like this? But for them, this is not just an 'event', it's more than that. I am somehow willing to do that, but then I don't have good memory in me, I doubt that if I can remember all those songs and all those steps :(
Tomorrow I will be starting class, will update about it when I feel like, till then enjoy!
